Q&A Top 5
What is your favorite college memory?
My favorite college memory was an event that was really similar to Springfest. A fraternity on campus would have bands play all day and we would sit on a hill, play games, and hang out. It was a great way to celebrate the end of the year! I guess that is why I absolutely love Springfest!
Why do you like working with college students?
I love that no day is the same and that I am constantly meeting new people. I also know that 10 years down the road, some of the students I work with will think back and realize they learned something and didn't even know it at the time. As an advisor, I live for those moments.
What do you like most about your job?
Advising UPB and Springfest are two of my favorite job responsibilities. I also love helping to plan events like Homecoming and Thwing Study Over where students can hang out and have a great time. It is those types of events that students remember after graduation!
What are you most likely to be doing on a Saturday afternoon?
If I am not working, I am hanging out with my husband, playing with my dog, sitting on the beach (in the summer), or watching some reality TV show (in the winter)!
If you could travel anywhere where would it be and why?
I would go back to Italy. Everything about the country was absolutely wonderful: the food, the people, the beautiful art. Italians really take the time to appreciate friends and family and to enjoy life. I would move there if I could get my husband and family to join me!
