Membership

The Membership Committee is responsible for several initiatives directly related to members of the Student Leadership Journey Council:

  • Recruitment and Selection
  • Membership Recognition
  • Social Opportunities

Recruitment and Selection

The Membership Committee coordinates, publicizes, and implements the recruitment and selection of new members each semester. As part of recruitment, the committee creates social opportunities and information sessions for interested students to meet SLJC members and learn more about the organization.

Membership Recognition

The SLJC encourages and motivates its members through recognition of accomplishments and contributions to the Case community. There are several ways in which members are recognized:

  • Leadership kudos
  • Shout outs
  • Balloon Program

Social Opportunities

Every semester, the committee plans a social event for members of the SLJC. These are great opportunities for members of the SLJC to get together, learn more about each other, and have fun. Some social opportunities include, but are not limited to:

  • Holiday potluck
  • Bowling
  • Movie night
  • Dinner at a restaurant
