The Student Executive Council

The Student Executive Council (SEC) is an umbrella organization that represents the six student boards:

The six boards meet four times a semester to discuss campuswide issues and promote communication among themselves.

USG, the Undergraduate Student Government, works on behalf of undergraduate students to address concerns and implement campus policy. USG also allocates a portion of the Student Activities Fee (SAF) to 150 recognized student organizations. SEC, the Student Executive Council, is an umbrella organization comprised of five student groups on campus. The council is accountable to students through the distribution of the Student Activities Fee (SAF). UPB, the University Program Board, uses a portion of the SAF to plan undergraduate programs and events. Programming includes arts and entertainment events, concerts, cultural development, traditions, Thwing Tuesdays, and more.
IFC/Panhel, Interfraternity Congress/Panhellenic Council: These Greek organizations govern the fraternities and sororities on campus. Both serve to unify Greeks and maintain a strong Greek community at Case. Media Board: Representatives from all media organizations serve on the Media Board to review and monitor media activities. Representatives include WRUW-FM, The Observer newspaper, Case Reserve Review, CWRU Film Society, Retrospect Yearbook, and Engineering and Science Review. COC, the Class Officer Collective, consists of elected officers from each class cohort. A portion of the SAF is spent on COC programs and events that promote class unity.
RHA, the Residence Hall Association, does not receive a portion of the SAF and sits on the SEC as a non-voting member.
