Fourth Year: Transitional Leadership

During the fourth phase of the Journey, Case students have the opportunity to reflect and synthesize their learning and leadership development.  Leadership is understood as a process and the student prepares for their post-graduate experience.  Leadership is celebrated and guidance and insight is provided to the next generation of student leaders.

Learning Outcomes

During the Transitional leadership phase students will:

• Reflect on their leadership experiences and synthesize learning
• Assist in the development of the next generation of student leaders
• Identify and celebrate life skills
• Prepare to apply leadership post-graduation

Sample Transitional Leadership Opportunities

Engage in leadership opportunities outside of Case Attend and/or present at a national or regional conference Co-present at the Fall and Winter Leadership Conferences Serve as an ELP mentor Become a Career Peer Complete a leadership competency portfolio Actively engage in a Greek organization and mentor future leaders Present research through academic departments Attend Leadership Journey Series workshops Serve on the Academic Integrity Board Nominate someone for a Dr. Dorothy Pijan Student Leadership Award
