Annual Case Programs
Created by New Student and Parent Programs, these fun events range from dances to comedians to concerts, and are an opportunity for the entire Case community to come together prior to the start of classes. Student groups such as Undergraduate Student Government (USG), University Program Board (UPB), Residence Hall Association (RHA), Interfraternity Congress (IFC), and Panhellenic Council participate by bringing entertainment that welcomes both new and current students back to campus. Welcome Days is August 18-22, 2010!

What once began at the University Farm was moved to the Case campus in 2009. Our annual Halloween tradition brings the entire Case community together, including faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their families. Past activities are free and have included: costume contests, pumpkin carving, live music, storytelling, a haunted hayride and fall refreshments. The event also coincides with the annual Turkey Drive coordinated by various departments within Student Affairs.

The Hudson Relays has been a fixture on campus each spring for nearly a century. The race dates back to 1910 when students at Adelbert College declaring "this race is not in the normal course of mankind" decided on a relay race to commemorate the school's 1882 move to Cleveland. The 26-mile route extended from the campus of Western Reserve Academy in Hudson to the large rocks in front of Adelbert Hall. The race became a 26-mile relay in 1990 and is now run on a closed course around University Circle. Hudson Relays is April 24, 2010!

Springfest, which occurs the last Saturday of the spring semester, is a student-planned event that celebrates Case and fosters campus unity. The tradition continues each year with inflatable attractions, novelty games, student organization booths, and great food. Throughout the day you will hear local bands and a national headliner that entertains hundreds of Case students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends. Springfest is April 24, 2010!

One of our most popular events on campus, the Thwing Study Over offers students a chance to break away from all the books, papers and last-minute assignments. Held in both the fall and spring semesters just before finals week, students converge on Thwing Center for free food, massages, entertainment, giveaways, and group study sessions. Spring Study Over is April 27, 2010!
