Sport Club of the Year
Criteria for Sports Club of the Year Award: $250.00 Award
- 45% Programming, such as events, practices, competition/travel. All clubs
have programming. The extent of their practices, social events, and clinics should be
considered here.
- 20% Leadership. (This is related to officer roles. If an outstanding club is run by only one person,
it's an outstanding person, not an outstanding club. How involved are its
officers in the decision-making process? Do they just go through the
motions or do they do anything beyond the call of duty?
- 20% Spirit/Campus Involvement. (How does the club contribute to the
reputation of CWRU in regard to sportsmanship, residence hall programming, etc.)
- 15% Achievements. (This is related to personal or team achievements, competition, or personal
goals. Have there been improvements since previous years?)
Outstanding Sport Club Leader
- Recognizes the sport club leader that has gone above and beyond the responsibilities
of his/her position as a sport club officer.
Outstanding Sport Club Member
- Presented to the individual who has demonstrated outstanding dedication,
creativity, participation, and energy within their sport club organization.
