Budgets

Sports club budgets for the upcoming year are to be submitted to the Sport Club Director by April 15 using the Budget Request Form. Clubs are required to complete financial status reports at the end of each semester. The Intramural Director and Presidents' Council shall review and make recommendation on all budgets submitted using the following criteria:

  1. Number of participants
  2. Length of season
  3. Number of years organized
  4. Anticipated growth
  5. Anticipated equipment needs
  6. Prior years budget versus actual expenses
  7. Fund-raising activities and performance

The Sports Club Program will retain a contingency fund for emergencies and special circumstances. Special assessments throughout the year will be charged on a prorated basis to each club. Final allocation of funds will be withheld until such time as the sport club has fulfilled all of its requirements and obligations for the current year.
