Adelbert Gym, built in 1888 for Western Reserve University, has three multipurpose courts that are used for basketball, volleyball, and badminton. The Case Western Reserve athletic department held Throwback Weekend for men's and women's basketball in the old field house in 2006 and 2007.
The Carlton Road tennis courts consist of six regulation-size courts. These courts are available for recreation from dawn to dusk. The courts are not available during Physical Education classes, intercollegiate athletic events, intramural programs or special events.
Used primarily for intramural sports, the field can be used in the day or night because of its lights. Freiberger Field is located behind the Kelvin Smith Library which makes it an easy trek for students looking to play intramural and recreational sports.
