This $126-million project consists of new residence halls, athletic fields and a 1200-car garage on the north side of campus. A new multipurpose stadium with the latest in artificial turf for football and soccer has become the new home field. New baseball and softball fields as well as a new track, round out the facility.

Football/Soccer Field & Track

The 2,400 seat state-of-the-art stadium and surrounding residential complex opened in August of 2005. The stadium boasts many distinguishing features, such as its spacious locker rooms, updated press row, field surface, and surrounding track. The facility was built for roughly $126 million.

Football/Track Locker Room

Features many individual benches, spacious lockers, meeting space, and a rubber surface to handle the wear and tear of football and track and field spikes.

President's Suite

Located at the south end of the press box, the luxurious President's Suite has its own sink, refrigerator, and comfortable furniture for meetings that are used by the University President and distinguished guests. The Suite also features priceless memorabilia of great Case Western Reserve athletes, coaches, and prominent figures that helped shape Spartan Athletics.

Case Field Press Box

Large areas for announcers and radio personalities, as well as the coaches box for Spartan coaches and the visiting staff. There is also space where reporters and statisticians can store their equipment. The Press Box also has cable television and internet access, not to mention a terrific view of Case Western Reserve Field.

Press Box Radio Room

Used by local and visiting radio personalities who cover Case Western Reserve Athletics.

Press Box Coaches Room

Used by the Case Western Reserve coaching staff, as well as the visiting team coaching staff.

Football/Soccer & Track Roof View

Located directly above the press box, the roof view has perfect view for filming the games that take place on Case Western Reserve Field.

Nobby's Ballpark Batting Cage

Used by the Spartan baseball team to warm up their bats during practice and before games.

Nobby's Ballpark

Recently built in August of 2005 [stadium in 2007], Nobby's Ballpark is home to the Spartan baseball team and was the result of a generous gift provided by alumnus Norbert “Nobby” Lewandowski. The Ballpark features bleachers that can seat around 500 fans.

Nobby's Ballpark Pressbox

The press box at Nobby's ballpark can seat up to ten comfortably and is equipped with wireless internet and large viewing windows that are retractable.

Throwing Field

Used by the Spartan track and field athletes for the throwing events. The baseball team also uses this space to warm up before practice and games and the football team will practice on the week of a natural grass game.

McLaughlin Medical and Athletic Training Facility

The athletic training room on the north side — like the south side — is equipped with whirlpools and multiple taping and rehab tables. A gift was made by University Hospitals of Cleveland to name the room in honor of former Case Western Reserve Team Physician Dr. Tom McLaughlin in September of 2007. He worked at Case for 34 years.

North Side Auxiliary Locker Rooms

These are multiple locker rooms at the north side facility that are used by home soccer, baseball and softball. There are also similar spaces for the away opponents for these sports.

Softball Field

Like most of the North side athletic facilities, the Case Western Reserve University softball facility is brand new [spring of 2006]. It includes a double occupancy batting cage and all dirt infield.
