The racquetball courts are located in Veale Center. The courts can be accessed through the locker room level.
  3. How do I reschedule an intramural match?See answer to question...
All rescheduling and postponement of scheduled games should be handled by intramural staff. There are a limited number of dates and times available for rescheduling games. Staff must be notified a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the scheduled contest. Please contact the intramural staff for more information.
  4. How can I acquire locker and towel service?See answer to question...
There are a limited number of lockers available for permanent use by students, faculty, and staff. These lockers are assigned by the Physical Education Department at the issue desk. The locker rental fee covers the use of the locker and towel service. Locks are provided.

Your Case ID is required to gain access. You cannot enter Veale Center without your Case ID.

Yes. The Athletic Department is one of the largest student employers on campus. Many students find rewarding and satisfying jobs within our department. Office workers, facility monitors, officials, and intramural supervisors are an example of the range of opportunities available. Men and women are hired in each category and all positions are filled by work-study students.

Racquetball court reservations can be made at the issue room. Reservations may be made up to one day in advance by signing up in person or contacting staff by phone. A second reservation cannnot be made until the first reservation is played.
  10. Can I check out recreational equipment overnight or for weekend use?See answer to question...
Arrangements must be made through the issue room for checking out equipment for overnight or extended use. There is a limited quantity of equipment available for use. Reservations for recreational equipment can be made two weeks in advance of the date the equipment is needed. An equipment rental fee needs to be paid at the time of the reservation. Equipment rental fees are refundable if the reservation is canceled 48 hours in advance.

Faculty, staff, or students may obtain a recreation facility card for their spouse or dependents 18 years of age or older who reside in their home. Cards may be purchased in the Facility Manager's office, 216 Veale. The office is located on the locker room level across from the issue room.

Guest passes may be purchased at the equipment issue room. Guest passes for one day may be purchased for a $5.00 fee by presenting a current faculty, staff, or student ID card. The guest must enter the building with the ID holder and remain with him/her at all times.

Organizations that wish to reserve Adelbert Gym or other athletics facilities must complete a Facility Space Reservation Request Form and return it to the Facility Manager.
  14. I want to play in an intramural team sport activity but I don't belong to a team. How can I join one?See answer to question...
Individuals who want to particiapte in a team activity, but have not joined a team, have several options. The intramural staff keeps a current list of "free agents" who seek to play in different team activities. Another option is to attend the Team Formations meeting held once a semester. Check the intramural calendar for dates and times.
