The Intramural Sports program serves the recreational and leisure needs of students, faculty and staff at Case Western Reserve University. Diversified programs and experiences are offered throughout the year to accomplish this purpose.
Intramural Sports brings together participants who want to meet socially and have fun. We provide the setting while you provide the fun and camraderie. Everyone who participates in Intramural Sports is a winner, as long as you set aside your ego and have fun.
The Intramural program offers leisure opportunities for women, men and co-rec participants, where men and women play on the same team. These activities are provided in the form of leagues, tournaments, or special one-day events. Team, dual, and individual activities are available, and the format established for play is based upon interest. Some activities are restricted to student participation, while some are structured so students, faculty, and staff may play together.
The wide range of activities offered by the Intramural staff accommodate a variety of needs. For those with a strong competitive spirit, flag football, basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball are available. Individual activities may include horseshoes, golf, tennis, racquetball, badminton and weightlifting.
