Eligibility and Other Information
Eligibility
All currently enrolled students at Case are eligible to play summer soccer. Each player may be listed on one roster only. Check with the intramural office for specific eligibility rules.
Divisions
- Summer League Co-Rec Open
Equipment
All players must wear shoes. No metal cleats or spikes are permitted. Rubber, plastic, or nylon cleats are permitted. Game balls and timing devices will be supplied. Each team should be wearing shirts or jerseys of the same color, for example, all white, all blue, etc.
Equipment Pickup & Return
The responsible team for acquiring and returning all equipment from the Veale Center issue room is designated on the summer soccer schedule as the HOME team. The Home team is the first team listed on the schedule. (For example, if teams 5-6 are playing, the home team is team #5). If multiple games are scheduled to be played on a given day, the last home team listed to play is responsible for the return of the equipment to the issue room at the end of the evening.
Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, please call the intramural office at 216.368.3874 after 3 p.m. on your game day to find out if your games have been postponed.
Rescheduling Games
There are a limited number of dates and times available for rescheduling soccer games. Both team managers (or designated representatives) and game officials must have a contest rescheduling agreement form on file prior to the rescheduled date. The form must be signed by Team Manager A, Team Manager B, assigned officials, and intramural staff.

Officials
Games shall be self-officiated. Each team shall supply referees to officiate their contests.

All teams that do not forfeit any regular season soccer games will qualify for divisional playoffs.
Protests
Only protests regarding player eligibility will be accepted by the intramural sports staff.
Forfeit Policy
Forfeit time is game time. The intramural staff person present shall declare game-time forfeits. If a team anticipates a forfeit, they should contact the intramural office as soon as possible.
