Eligibility, Rules, and Other Information
Eligibility
All currently enrolled Case students, faculty, and staff are eligible to play tennis. Each player may be listed on one roster only.
Rules
- All games will be four points. No Add games.
- All matches consist of a two, eight-game pro set. The first player to win eight games by a margin of two is the winner. An eight-all tie shall be broken by a nine-point tie breaker. The first player to win five points shall be declared the winner.
Tennis scores must be turned in at Veale Center within 24 hours of the time the match ended. (Players report and post.) Players may also e-mail their scores.
Divisions
Leagues will be offered this summer in the following divisions. A minimum of eight singles/doubles per division will be required for play to be scheduled.

- Women's Singles
- Men's Doubles
- Women's Doubles
- Co-Rec Doubles
Equipment
Each player shall bring usable tennis balls to his/her matches.

Inclement Weather
In case of inclement weather, please call the intramural office on your game day at 216.368.3874 to find out if matches have been postponed.
Protests
Only protests regarding player eligibility will be accepted by the intramural sports staff.
Forfeit Policy
There are no forfeits. Call your opponents in advance of your scheduled play date and confirm that he/she will be present to play.
