Letter from the Director
Dear Intramural Team Manager:
The Intramural staff welcomes you as an Intramural Team Manager and we look
forward to making your job an enjoyable one for you and your entire team this season.
This manual lists the new and modified events for the upcoming
school year, as well as next year's summer school intramural activities.
In an effort to improve the quality of our intramural program we have been working hard to
improve our method of training and disseminating information to team managers. As a
result of these efforts, this new and improved manual has been prepared and designed to
assist in training you as a team manager, and can be used as a resource
throughout the entire season while you are in charge of your team. The manual is effective
only if you read it and use it as a continuous reference. It contains complete
information on the rules and procedures and it has been written to be both practical and
informative. There may be addenda to the manual, which will be added at a later time.
Your task is an important one and our staff has put our trust in your abilities to do a good
job. I can assure you that our office will do everything to assist you with your
responsibilities. Please take time to review the material. Share the information with your
fellow intramural teammates. Your comments, concerns, and ideas on how we can meet
the recreational and leisure needs of the campus community are important. Please feel
free to stop by the intramural office and share your thoughts on the program or you can
place your written ideas in the Intramural entry box located in the Veale Center Lobby.
Our hope is that this manual will enhance the level of enjoyment for all intramural
participants and prepare you more thoroughly for your role as an informed
and enthusiastic Intramural Team Manager.
Looking forward to a good year,
Sincerely,
Pat Kennedy
Intramural Director
