Becoming a Team Manager
Each team entered into intramural activities must have a team manager/captain. The team manager's responsibilities are as follows:
- Represent the team at any scheduled organizational meetings
- Gain an understanding of all entry procedures and eligibility rules as they pertain to his/her team
- Obtain, properly complete, and return the completed entry form to the
Intramural Office with appropriate forfeit deposits prior to the entry deadline
- Regularly check the intramural bulletin boards for important information including schedule changes, playoffs, etc.
- Regularly communicate with the intramural staff
- Serve as a motivated, enthusiastic leader. Stay in control of yourself and in turn, control your fellow teammates and spectators.
- Check your opponents' Case ID cards prior to the start of each intramural contest to verify names (eligibility) listed on the official score sheet
