Becoming a Team Manager

Each team entered into intramural activities must have a team manager/captain. The team manager's responsibilities are as follows:

  1. Represent the team at any scheduled organizational meetings
  2. Gain an understanding of all entry procedures and eligibility rules as they pertain to his/her team
  3. Obtain, properly complete, and return the completed entry form to the Intramural Office with appropriate forfeit deposits prior to the entry deadline
  4. Regularly check the intramural bulletin boards for important information including schedule changes, playoffs, etc.
  5. Regularly communicate with the intramural staff
  6. Serve as a motivated, enthusiastic leader. Stay in control of yourself and in turn, control your fellow teammates and spectators.
  7. Check your opponents' Case ID cards prior to the start of each intramural contest to verify names (eligibility) listed on the official score sheet
