Inclement Weather / Rain-Outs
Whenever it rains or snows, players should not use any of the intramural playing fields. Playing on wet fields
leaves them in an irreparable and unsafe condition. "Mudball" may be fun, but not when subsequent intramural games must be canceled due to
unplayable fields.
In case of poor weather conditions, call the intramural office after 3 p.m. on your game day at 216.368.3874 or 216.368.2191 to find out the status.
Game Postponements / Rescheduling Contests
There are a limited number of dates and times available for rescheduling intramural contests. Both team
managers (or a designated representative) and game officials must have a contest rescheduling agreement form on file prior to the scheduled date. It must be signed by:
- Team Manager A
- Team Manager B
- Assigned Officials
- An IM Staff Professional
Rained out games will not be rescheduled by the IM office. Team managers and officials shall utilize the contest rescheduling agreement form when
rescheduling inclement weather make-up contests.
Team manager's mutually agreeing to cancel or postpone a scheduled contest must have on file in the Intramural Office prior to their scheduled contest, a completed contest rescheduling agreement form. Teams not able to play their rescheduled contests shall be given a loss for team record purposes. These losses may be redefined as a forfeit at the discretion of the intramural staff.
