Why did you choose to attend Case?
CWRU is one of the few good schools offering Masters in Engineering Management. The course had structure and a strong industrial link.
How/why did you choose your major?
Certain business skills are essential for every engineer to succeed in today’s competitive industry. Engineering Management, gave me that business acumen along with my strong engineering background.
What do you look forward to about your future career plans?
I look forward to utilizing the knowledge I gained during my Masters at CWRU to my job and further education. The international exposure at the University has made me a global thinker.
What advice would you give to a student in pursuit of a major, internship/practicum, full-time position or graduate school admission?
Start Today! Be early – be it in resume critique or mock interviews. Try to develop a network and make maximum utilization of resources.

What academic course(s) has prepared you most for your career?
The engineering management program has some great professors for its academic courses which integrates the master’s curriculum as one single unit. Courses like Strategy Planning and Control Systems for implementing strategy, Engineering Finance were most helpful for my immediate future.
What do you plan to do after graduation, and how has Case helped you reach that goal?
Entering the consulting industry, I hope to interact with a lot of new people. I wish to stay in this industry and help solve complex organizational problems. Some of the courses I took at WSOM like Managerial Consulting generated interest for this industry.
