Why did you choose to attend Case?
The Engineering & Management program at Case is highly recognized and greatly respected in industry. Additionally, the vibrant and diverse student population here makes it a great place to study. Also Cleveland offers a wonderful blend of an illustrious history and a promising future.
How/why did you choose your major?
I chose this course since it was a perfect combination of engineering and management and trained engineers to think like managers while solving complex business and engineering problems.
What do you look forward to about your future career plans?
I look forward to exploring the very diverse and exciting opportunities in consulting. I will be working in a different city, meeting new people and traveling a lot, so I’m really excited about it!
What advice would you give to a student in pursuit of a major, internship/practicum, full-time position or graduate school admission?
Start early and be sure of the kind of jobs/graduate schools you want to target. The counselors at the Case career center are very helpful, take their advice.
What services have you found most useful at the Career Center?
The resume critique sessions and the mock interviews are extremely helpful. I was able to research and interview with a lot of companies thanks to the Case career fair. What academic course(s) has prepared you most for your career? The various business case studies and project presentations we did in class have been very helpful.
What do you plan to do after graduation, and how has Case helped you reach that goal?
I want to have a successful career in consulting and I feel a degree in Engineering and Management from Case has put me a step ahead of my peers.
