Welcome to the Center for Collegiate Behavioral Health (CBH), your connection to information and resources that enhance your college experience by making healthy choices in the way you live your life. The programming efforts of CBH reflect a growing emphasis on primary prevention
of disease and mental illness by addressing the health of the whole person. Our mental health outreach model is geared toward holistic programming designed not only to prevent and treat, but also promote and maintain health and well-being.
Our goal is to assist students in their pursuit of optimal health and positive lifestyle choices that will enhance their lives and contribute to their academic success. Groups and programs such as stress management, smoking cessation, healthy eating, and meditation are just a few of those being offered that incorporate wellness with behavioral change programs.
During the year, we will promote the importance of student resilience, the process of adapting and coping effectively with the stressors of life, such as classroom demands and interpersonal relationships. Look for upcoming group and program offerings that are designed to help you adjust to new challenges and bounce back from adverse situations.
