Screening for Mental Health, Inc.
UCS/CBH is partnering with Screening for Mental Health, Inc. (SMH) to provide confidential screening for alcohol abuse, depression, manic-depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other health-related issues. This online screening is free and is a great way to determine whether professional consultation would be helpful to you.
The self-assessment screening can be done online within minutes. Once you enter the website you will be prompted to select one of six categories, such as bipolar disorder, depression, or post-traumatic stress. You will then answer a series of demographic questions, as well as a series of Yes/No questions.
At the end of each anonymous screening you will receive an immediate result that can be printed and taken to a clinician for further evaluation. A screening test is not a substitute for a complete evaluation but it can help you learn if your symptoms are consistent with issues that require further consultation and followup.
The online screening is completely anonymous. We do not collect any unique identifying information, and neither SMH nor UCH has access to view your individual results.
