Current Groups and Programs
The following is a list of groups and programs that are currently being offered at UCS, or are being planned for the near future.
- A New Beginning — A group for students touched by addiction.
- Check-In Checkup — A group for students who are trying to stay on track academically while also taking care of their emotional, psychological and mental healthcare needs.
- Coping with Grief and Loss — A group for students who have lost a loved one.
- Global Nomads — A group for students who want to talk with others about living outside their passport culture.
- GRADLink - Graduate Student Support Group — This group is a common platform for graduate students where they can share their thoughts and experiences about being a graduate student at Case Western Reserve University.
- International Students and Partners — A group for international students, their spouses and partners who gather to discuss their experiences.
- Interpersonal Process Groups — A group for students who want to better understand themselves and their relationships with others.
- Making Peace with Food — This group is for students who want to explore their eating patterns and maintain a healthier relationship with food.
- Managing Stress Through Meditation — This group is for students who want to manage the stress of college life by practicing meditation techniques.
- Partners of Medical School Students — This group is for spouses and partners of students that attend Case Western Reserve, Lerner Medical School, Case Dental and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine.
- Social Confidence — In this 5-week skills-building group, students learn specific strategies to help overcome shyness and feel more comfortable in social situations.
- Students Helping Students — This group is open to all students who have a desire to decrease and/or stop harmful substance use.
- Students in Recovery — This is a weekly support group that is only open to students living in the Recovery House.
- Survivors of Sexual Trauma — This group is for women who are survivors of sexual assault, sexual trauma or unwanted sexual touch.
- Women's Empowerment — This group helps women learn to communicate more assertively, develop healthy relationships and set personal boundaries through self-empowerment.

UCS wants to hear your ideas! There may be other students with similar interests as well, and once enough students express an interest in a particular theme or type of group, we can explore the possibility of starting up a new group.
