  • Case Wellness Week is Feb. 25-29, 2008. The Center for Collegiate Behavioral Health, the Flora Stone Mather Center for Women, University Health Service, and the department of Physical Education & Athletics is sponsoring Case Wellness Week. Activities include workshops on sleep, nutrition, exercise, women's health, stress management, meditation, and much more. Check out the web page for details.
  • Valentines Day is Feb. 14. While this is a special day to celebrate your relationship with your significant other, every day should be a celebration of this relationship. To help make your relationship more satisfying, check out Better Couples Communication and Can We Talk? for tips on communicating with each other more effectively.

Wellness. We've all heard the term used for years. What does it mean? Does it have a single, or best definition? Probably not. However, there is one thing most people agree on — that wellness is much more than the absence of sickness or disease.

Given that, wellness can be considered a state in which all aspects of our lives are balanced and functioning optimally. For most people, even those experiencing the best of life circumstances, this is an ideal for which to strive, more than a state they experience. However, working toward this is something we all can do daily. More
