Spirituality

Who am I? What is the purpose in my life? How can that purpose be fulfilled? What motivates me to do what I do? Why do I work, study, love, care? These and other searching questions are asked by most everyone throughout their lives in some form or another.

Spirituality is not necessarily associated with any particular religion, creed or group. It is a very personal quest and experience for each individual. While many people choose to seek or express their individual spirituality within the context of the organized religion of their childhood or one they chose in adulthood, many others are on a journey which takes them beyond a particular set of beliefs or pre-established doctrines and worship forms.

Spirituality is a unique subject of exploration. By its very nature, it cannot be studied, observed or quantified in the same way that other areas of wellness can. The word spirit originally meant breath or the wind, which can be conceptualized as inner life force, soul, or anything beyond, but not separate from the physical.

There are endless ways to explore your own spiritual nature and endless paths for spiritual growth. We hope these links provide some useful starting points for your exploration of your own spirituality.
