Recovery House
An alternative housing option is available for students who want to reside in a substance-free, recovery-based house. Open to eligible undergraduate, graduate and professional school students from Case, Cleveland Institute of Music, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Clinic Lerner Medical School and the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, Recovery House assists residents in developing healthy life skills while remaining free of alcohol and other drugs.

Recovery House is located on Murray Hill Road immediately adjacent to all classrooms, labs and University Circle institutions. It is a two-unit, apartment-house for residents and a graduate resident director. Residents develop an individualized plan for continued sobriety along with personal health objectives, and are encouraged to assist each other in creating a safe and supportive place to live, study, and play free of alcohol and other drugs. The staff of the University Counseling Service and it's division of Prevention & Recovery Services (PRS) assists residents with their personal recovery plans. Members of the PRS Advisory Board include faculty, staff and students from Case and health professionals from the Cleveland community.
Recovery House is a cooperative effort of the Office of Housing and Residence Life, University Counseling Services, Collegiate Behavioral Health Advisory Council, Francis Payne Bolton School of Nursing, Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences and the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center.
