This presentation will focus on issues that arise
concerning housing transgender students. Join
us for an interactive and informative session to
better understand housing issues as they pertain
to serving transgender students. We will review
terms associated with transgender students, talk
about housing stock issues, bathrooms, and
other pertinent policies. We will also look at how
our campus policy has evolved over time, as
well as highlight the experiences of several other
institutions. We will then discuss assignment
issues and how to balance our obligations to
both the students and the institution. We will also
provide time for discussion and questions.
