The UF Department of Housing and Residence
Education (DOHRE) has come a long way from
the days when returning residents were required
to visit residence hall offices and wait in line
to sign up for their rooms. Today, we offer our
residents a simple online room signup process,
which allows them to submit their contract
and select a room in very few steps, all while
comfortably sitting in front of their computer.
This presentation will discuss the evolution of
our online room signup from its first version
to what it has become today. Attendees will be
provided with a live demonstration of the way our
residents choose a room space using our simple
and intuitive online approach.
