    @Capricce: I would suggest looking at Asus' Eee Pc . It may not look powerful but as far as mobility, it has no peers. It weighs just 2 lbs and costs ~$300 (depending on model and configuration.)     I feel obligated to tell you that a custom-built machine would cost you loads less, and that Dell only advises college students to get certain computers because it can get the most profit from selling them, even with the discounts.
