KSLearn at the Library
Instructing Case community members on how to use the library and its resources has always been central to
the mission of KSL.
KSLearn is an instructional program within the university library designed to fulfill this mission. It offers classes to Case faculty, students, and staff in the following areas:
- Internet resources for research and teaching
- Instruction and course development using Blackboard software
- Electronic mail and conferencing software for scholarly communication and teaching
- Microsoft Office products including, Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
- Instruction on subject-specific research/information resources in all formats
- Online library catalogs, periodical indexes, and table of contents services
- Use and creation of electronic texts, image databases, and other electronic collections of source materials for research and teaching
- Interactive multimedia development for teaching and learning
- Information literacy skills for undergraduates
- Intellectual property issues in a digital environment

Computer Resources
Case has negotiated licensing agreements and developed technology
that allows students to download fully functional versions of the latest software packages for both PC and Mac.
Users with high speed access can download these free packages (some require a license fee) using campus
Virtual Private Networking (VPN) at no charge.
Computer Support
When you need help with your computer, visit our online website for quick troubleshooting tips. You also may call 216.368.HELP 24/7, or stop by one of our walk-in centers at the following locations:
- 11424 Bellflower Road - Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Room 340 Sears Building - Monday through Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
