Housing and Residence Life
For students who wish to live on campus, Case offers a variety of housing options for undergraduate students. Our residential communities provide students with many social, recreational, and academic programs as well as opportunities that enhance the educational experience at Case.
The Refuge
If you could benefit from some time away from your regular living environment, you might consider the Refuge. The Refuge is a suite of rooms operated by the Office of Housing and Residence Life which offers a homey place to rest,
relax, and renew. It is a quiet place to study and has a private room for short-term overnight accommodations. The
Refuge is a positive and healthful option for students who may be dealing with stress of a personal or academic nature.

Campus phones can be found in yellow and gray boxes on phone poles or walls outside many buildings as well as in many classroom
buildings. The red emergency call button on these phones connects directly to the Case Security Department. All campus
extensions (368), including residence hall numbers (with 754 extensions) can be dialed free on campus phones.
When dialing 754 extensions, dial 7 before the last four digits. Only the last four digits are needed when calling 368
extensions from campus phones.

Blue emergency phones are located in strategic locations around the University Circle area.
Pressing the emergency button will activate the blue emergency light and siren, as well as alert the Security Office

Transportation
RTA bus lines are very accessible since they cover most of the Cleveland metropolitan area.
All undergraduate Case students are billed $25.00 each semester and receive the RTA U-Pass,
which provides unlimited access to any RTA bus line.
Passes are distributed at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters to all resident
and commuter undergraduate students. The passes provide a great way to get to locations
throughout the city.
Call RTA information at 216.621.9500 to get a complete schedule of
all buses. You may also pick up an RTA bus schedule in the Thwing Center Atrium.
