Parking at Case
Commuter parking is essential to your life at Case. The safest way to park is to purchase a parking permit. Commuter permits start at $69.00 per month. There are three types of permits: those expiring December 31, those expiring May 31, and those expiring June 30. The earliest date you may purchase a permit (without paying for part of the summer) is August 15.
You may purchase your permit at Access Services at 18 Crawford Hall (in the basement). Office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The commuter lot (S-46) is located between E. 115 and E. 118 (entrance on E. 117). Two commuter shuttles that run from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday through Friday) provide transportation to and from the lot. A third shuttle is added at peak morning and evening periods.
The shuttles run from the E. 117 stop near the entrance to stops at Ford and Bellflower, Thwing Center, Crawford Hall, Lerner Tower, 1-2-1 Fitness Center and at the Wolstein Research Center. Service for both routes is reduced during school breaks on holidays and during the summer.
Some, but not all of the campus buses are wheelchair accessible. Resident students are assigned to the upper levels of the structure, but commuters may park anywhere that space is available on the lower two-and-a-half floors.
Your commuter permit is valid on most campus lots Monday through Friday after 4:30 p.m. and all hours on weekends. Not all parking lots are available for after hours parking; several require card access. Ask about this option when you purchase your permit, or call Access Services at 216.368.2273 for additional information throughout the semester.
There is also parking available on some streets via parking meters. There are meters along Euclid Avenue, East Boulevard, Juniper, Bellflower, and in Little Italy. Most meters fill up by 9 a.m., so get there early if you plan to use meter parking. Visitor parking is also available in the various visitor lots on Adelbert Road. Rates are $1.00 per half hour up to a maximum of $10.00 per day. We recommend that you use this option only if you do not need parking on a regular basis.
