Study Rooms at KSL

Photo of Miriam PosnerBy Miriam Posner, Political Science, Class of 2010

Over the course of my two years at Case, I have studied, written, read, and napped almost everywhere on this campus. I have explored nearly all the possible study spaces at Case and have come to the conclusion that there is no better place to prepare for a class, exam, report, or paper than one of the many private study rooms at the Kelvin Smith Library. Found on every floor of the library, these little nooks have gotten me through many late-night study sessions.

If a completely silent space is what you need, the basement rooms are perfect. If a nice high-backed chair and grand desk are more your style, the second floor side room is made for you (a personal favorite of mine). If you are looking for a space where you and group of friends can spread out to prepare a presentation, study for an exam, or put together a lab report, then head to the third-floor study rooms. Whatever the situation, KSL can provide a room just for you. Now all you have to do is make sure you’re early enough to score one of these pieces of prime real estate before someone else steals your chance.
