ESS Group Tutoring provides regularly scheduled student-facilitated, large-group study sessions for select undergraduate courses at Case Western Reserve University. Group tutoring sessions are free and participation is completely voluntary. Students who attend sessions can ask questions, review notes, practice problems and prepare for exams in a relaxed environment.
Sessions are led by peer tutors who have successfully completed the courses, are recommended by professors, and trained by ESS. During the sessions, tutors will reinforce material recently covered in lecture as assigned by the course professor(s). The goal is to involve students with the course material and introduce good study skills and habits. Students who attend should remember to bring their book, notes, and any other material they may need to use as a resource.
**Students DO NOT need to sign up for group tutoring sessions. However, students will be asked to sign in and sign out of tutoring sessions.
