Wei Li, Mentor TA – Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Wei Li is a graduate student in the Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Department. He currently works on biorobots, which look like mechnical insects, and he also has a background in aircraft design. Wei enjoys watching movies; swimming; hiking; and reading about history, the military, and nature. Wei looks forward to becoming acquainted with the graduate students attending UNIV 400 and sharing his teaching experiences.

Aron Lindberg, Mentor TA – Organizational Behavior
Aron Lindberg is a second-year doctoral student at the department of Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management. Outside of school he is a triathlete, an avid traveller who has walked on six continents, a lover of zombie movies, HBO dramas and narrative non-fiction. Aron has been a TA for the past year and would love to share his mistakes and ideas so that others can have a smooth experience.

Robby Browning, Mentor TA – Biology
Robby is a 2nd year Master’s student in the Biology department. He earned his Bachelor’s in Biology and Spanish from CWRU in 2010. His thesis research is salivary biomarkers of stress and insulin resistance in primates at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo, and he hopes to attend veterinary school after graduating in the spring. Outside of school, Robby enjoys swimming, volunteering at the Cleveland APL, and spending time with friends and family. He hopes to share the knowledge he has gained from his own experiences as a TA and mentor TA.

Fei Ding, Mentor TA – Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Fei is a PhD candidate in the department of electrical engineering and computer science. She started her study at Case Western Reserve University in fall 2010, also her first year in U.S. Her research focuses on renewable energy generation and control, and she hopes to be an expert in this area after she graduates. During her spare time, Fei likes watching tv shows, movies and hanging out with friends. As a mentor TA, she hopes she can play a role in improving the teaching skills for TAs.

Hector Martinez, Mentor TA – Organizational Behavior
Hector Martinez is a second year PhD student in Organizational Behavior at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Born in Nicaragua, he has lived for a number of years in the United States as well as Costa Rica. He has been a TA for the Leadership Assessment and Development class in the MBA program at Weatherhead.

Kristin Sullivant, Mentor TA – Biomedical Engineering
Kristin is currently a third-year graduate student in the Biomedical Engineering department. Her research focuses on multi-modality biomedical imaging, specifically applied to tumor imaging and assessing stem cell therapeutics. As a graduate student at Case, she has been an active member of WISER (Women in Science and Engineering), Project Sunshine, the Graduate Student Senate, and the BME Graduate Student Association. Outside of school, she enjoys cheering on her favorite Philadelphia sports teams, going to baseball and football games, exploring Cleveland with friends, playing the viola, photography, and planning her upcoming wedding. Kristin looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for teaching with the incoming class of UNIV400 students.

Njoke Thomas, Mentor TA – Organizational Behavior
Njoke Thomas is entering her second year in the doctoral program of the Organizational Behavior department. Her research interests focus on learning and practice change, with an emphasis on health care organizations. In her free time she enjoys yoga, hiking and road-trips. She has driven across the US twice! Njoke has found the TA experience to be an excellent way to learn the art of teaching and hopes to share her experiences and enthusiasm with new graduate students.
