Bringing together students, faculty, and staff on topics of interest to the Case community

Academic Happy Hour logo

Academic Happy Hour is a tradition at Case that involves students, staff, and faculty. The event encourages participation from the Case community to engage in meaningful conversation with the university's president on topics of academic, social, or global significance.

The spring event is usually held in Thwing Ballroom in mid-afternoon so the community can come together for appetizers, mocktails, and discussion. Past events have been sponsored by Educational Services for Students, Greek Life, the University Center for Innovation in Teaching and Education (UCITE), Undergraduate Studies, and the Office of the President and the Provost.
