Opportunities to Participate
We also have opportunities where you can participate as a vendor, sponsor, or donor. All fees and donations are tax deductible! Find out how you can help!
Set Up a Vendor Booth and Interact with Your Audience
If you would like to be a vendor, there are two levels of participation:
- For-profit vendors: $75
- Not-for-profit vendors: $50
Demonstrate your service, perform a test or health screening, and sell your product or service by having a booth. We will provide a 2-foot-by-5-foot table and two chairs. Booths with access to electrical outlets are limited; an additional $15 fee will be added to the booth cost. Reserve a space by October 1, or e-mail 5krace@case.edu for more details.
Vendors will be included on the Wellness Expo website and all Wellness Expo marketing materials.
Become a Sponsor and Get Even More Exposure
If you would like to be a sponsor, the cost is $150
Sponsorship includes everything available to vendors. In addition, you will receive a prime booth location, your company name on our T-shirts, and all race and expo advertising. (You must respond by October 1, 2009, if you want your vendor/sponsor name to appear on the back of runner T-shirts). Contact 5Krace@case.edu by October 1 for more information on becoming a sponsor.
Advertise Your Product or Service by Donating a Raffle Prize
All runners and walkers will receive a ticket with race entry and additional tickets will be sold during the expo! If you can't participate, consider donating a raffle prize. Any vendor that donates raffle prizes will be listed on the website.
Where Does the Fee/Sponsorship Money Go?
All proceeds from the Homecoming and Alumni Weekend 5K race directly benefit a current student at CORE. A grant will be awarded to an undergraduate student at the annual Undergraduate Honors Assembly held each year in April. Named after Stephanie Tubbs-Jones, a noted CWRU alumna and respected member of the U.S. House of Representatives in Ohio's 11th district from 1999-2008, this award is given in honor of a true Spartan. It benefits an undergraduate, underrepresented CWRU student for significant contributions to campus life, scholarship, and community service — three characteristics best demonstrated by Ms. Tubbs-Jones. She died in August, 2008.
