Second Year Celebration Essay

Eligible Participants

Current second-year students are eligible to participate in the essay contest. Eligible students will be third-year students at Case Western Reserve University for the 2009-2010 academic year.

Due Date

All entries are due by 8 a.m. Thursday, April 22, 2010

Submission

Essays need to be saved as a PDF or Microsoft Word attachment and e-mailed to: celebration@case.edu

Word Limit

No more than 1000 words

Essay Topic

During your second year at Case Western Reserve University, you have been challenged to explore and engage in the many opportunities available to students. In view of your second-year experiences, what is your personal vision for your final years at Case and beyond?

Prizes for Top Three Essays

• 1st Place - $250 Book Scholarship
• 2nd Place - $150 Book Scholarship
• 3rd Place - $100 Book Scholarship

Winning Essays

The winning essays will be announced at the Second Year Celebration. All essays will be displayed at the event. Check out the winning essays from the 2008 Celebration Essay Contest.
