Picnic Areas
There are four separate picnic areas that can be reserved at the farm: open areas 1 and 2; and Shelters 3 and 6.
University staff, faculty, students and alumni are permitted through affiliation to host one private family picnic per summer for up to 35 people. These private affiliated picnics must fall within the 35 guest limit. Those reserving space under affiliated status must abide by guidelines as stated on reservation form. As of January 2012, there will be a $35 usage fee charged for all private picnics.
Starting in April 2012, ten private picnics of up to 100 guests will be allowed and charged a usage fee of $500.00. These private picnics must fall within the 100 guest limit and abide by usage guidelines as stated on reservation form. Reservations must be submitted and picnics sponsored ONLY by university affiliates (University staff, faculty, students and alumni). Affiliated sponsor must be in attendance for duration of event.
All CWRU Department picnics will be charged a $150 fee for usage of picnic areas.
Not-for-profit groups affiliated with CWRU or with an affiliated sponsor within organization, are permitted to host their NFP organization's picnic up to 100 guest for a usage fee of $200.00. NFP affiliated sponsor must be in attendance for duration of event.
Sites 3 and 6 provide covered shelters and can accommodate up to 120 people when reserved by university departments and student groups. Picnic areas 4 and 5, which are located near the pond and pine grove, are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for up to 15 people. All areas have grills and tables.
Tent rental is not permitted at any of the picnic sites; please view the picnic area usage guidelines and farm alcohol policy prior to making reservations.

Reservations
Please check availability on our farm calendar before completing the appropriate reservation form for your event. Picnic areas open the second week in April through the first weekend in October.
