Phi Kappa Tau Wins Roland Maxwell Award

During the past week, four Phi Kappa Tau fraternity brothers traveled to the Phi Kappa Tau National Leadership Academy, in Oxford, Ohio and received a number of national awards, including the Roland Maxwell award for the nation's most outstanding chapter of Phi Kappa Tau. This award is the most prestigious distinction that any Phi Tau chapter can receive from the national organization. Additionally, this marks the first time in Phi Kappa Tau's history that they have ever won the Roland Maxwell Award.
In addition to the Roland Maxwell Award, Phi Kappa Tau also won the following distinctions:

  • The Monroe Moosnick Award, presented to the chapter of Phi Kappa Tau with the highest chapter GPA for the 2006-2007 academic year
  • Academic Excellence (.1 above campus all men's average)
  • Administrative Excellence (Filed 100% of required reports; at least 90% on-time) Certificate of Merit in for Philanthropy (over $1000 donated to Hole in the Wall Camps, our national philanthropy)
