As a student entering Case Western Reserve University, chances are that you graduated in the upper echelon of your high school class. You are most likely accustomed to having academics at the top of your list of priorities.
College education, particularly at a high-caliber school like Case, presents you with a far more rigorous academic program than you encountered in high school. College also provides you with more freedom and places the burden of time management solely on you.
Negotiating these two challenges are part of the college adjustment period and can prove to be a daunting task. Far too often, students encounter problems during the first two years and have a tough time resolving them during the remainder of their college life.
