Student Affairs Staff Recognition Awards
The Student Affairs Staff Recognition Awards are presented to staff members
and partners who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and service.
Award Categories
- Outstanding Achievement Award - Support Staff Member
Presented to a Student Affairs staff member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and service.
- Outstanding Achievement Award - Professional Staff Member
Presented to a Student Affairs staff member who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and service.
- Outstanding Graduate Student in Student Affairs
Presented to a graduate student working in a Student Affairs office who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, initiative, and service.
- Outstanding New Professional in Student Affairs
Presented to a new Student Affairs staff member who has demonstrated outstanding
leadership, initiative, and service. This staff member must have 5 years experience or less in the field of Student Affairs.
- Student Affairs Outstanding Program of the Year
Presented to a Student Affairs committee, department(s) or program whose team efforts have
resulted in an overwhelmingly successful program during the past 12 months.
- Outstanding Student Affairs Partner
Presented in appreciation for extraordinary dedication to partnering with the Division of
Student Affairs.
Staff members may also make up their own awards to be presented to a staff member. Examples include "Best Sense of Humor," "Best Dresser," "Worst Dresser," "Messiest Office/Desk," etc.
