RHA: One organization; seven councils

Just as the United States is one country with 50 states, the Residence Hall Association at Case Western Reserve University is one organization with seven councils. Each council (state) remains completely autonomous with its own budget, government, structure, and advisor. Furthermore, just as the Senate and the House are made up of representatives from each state, the CWRU RHA General Body (GB) is comprised of representatives from each of the councils. Each council sends one president, while the number of vice presidents varies depending on the size of the council. The General Body then votes on legislation that is then passed onto the councils and the residential communities.

The councils are the integral piece of the RHA structure, bridging the gap between residents and the General Body.
