Leadership Development
The Residence Hall Association offers great opportunities to be a leader in your community while focusing on personal leadership development. RHA develops leaders through the community councils, General Body, and Executive Board. Students are eligible to run for a council position as early as the first week of their first year! Leadership training begins immediately after elections with RHA Council Training.
Council training focuses on developing a council's identity, teamwork abilities, and the individual's position knowledge. In addition, RHA has winter leadership training and monthly leadership events/discussions to provide members and residents with resources and avenues to improve their leadership qualities.
RHA members also have the opportunity to work closely with professionals and administration within the university through advocating and programming for the residents at CWRU. As a council member, a student will discuss and vote on legislation, plan and implement large programs, be the voice of his/her peers to the administration, and participate in a truly student run organization. The Residence Hall Association is committed to helping its members become strong leaders at CWRU and beyond.
Grow as a leader with RHA!
