Council Co-sponsorships

Council co-sponsorships should be used by councils that are requesting less than $400 in funding. If applying for more than $400, an executive co-sponsorship form must be submitted. To obtain a council co-sponsorship, several requirements must be met:

  • In order to determine the maximum amount that can be requested, please complete the council co-sponsorship form [PDF, 145KB]. Include a detailed description of the event and the event's expenses. At least one council must sponsor the event for a minimum of $50.
  • Start by talking to the council president or a vice president and arrange a time to present it to the council.
  • A council's event sponsorship must be indicated by the council president's signature on the back of the form.
  • All sponsoring councils must contribute $50 of funding to the event and must actively advertise the event in their buildings.
  • The advertisement must include postings and a notice of the event in any council newsletters.
  • The council co-sponsorship form must be submitted by the Friday before the General Body meeting at which the event will be discussed.
  • The form may be placed inside one of the two RHA mailboxes in either Fribley or Wade. An e-mail message also must be sent to case-rha@case.edu.
  • The maximum amount of a co-sponsorship is determined by the number of halls sponsoring the event and may not exceed half the total budget of the event.
  • The primary contact must present the event co-sponsorship request at an RHA General Body meeting.

Please note: These are not guidelines; they are requirements. Applications/presentations that do not meet these requirements will not be granted a co-sponsorship. RHA still withholds the right to modify the co-sponsorship amount with the approval of the RHA General Body.
