Executive Co-Sponsorships
Executive co-sponsorships should be used by groups outside of RHA requesting more than $200. Councils should submit an executive co-sponsorship form if requesting more than $400. To obtain an executive co-sponsorship, several requirements must be met:
- The event must uphold and promote the ideals of the Residence Hall Association.
- The event must plan to have an attendance of greater than 500 students.
- AnĀ executive co-sponsorship form [PDF, 85KB] must be completed and include a detailed description of the event, the event's expenses, and desired co-sponsorship amount. The form must be turned in to either the Wade or Fribley RHA offices no later than two weeks prior to the event. An e-mail message also must be sent to case-rha@case.edu.
- A representative for the event must present a brief, informative, and professional presentation on the event at an upcoming RHA General Body meeting. This representative should be prepared to answer questions relating to the event's budget, target audience, relevance to RHA's mission, and advertising.
- An advertisement sample with the RHA logo must be present at the time the co-sponsorship is presented to the RHA General Body. It must be posted within one week after the co-sponsorship is granted.
- The amount requested in a co-sponsorship may not exceed half the total budget of the event.
- Only one executive co-sponsorship may be granted each semester per organization.
Please note: These are not guidelines; they are requirements. Applications/presentations that do not meet these requirements will not be granted an executive co-sponsorship. RHA still withholds the right to modify the co-sponsorship amount with the approval of the RHA General Body.
