RTA
Locally known as the rapid, the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority offers two ways to use the public transportation system. The first option is light rail. The Route 66x Red Line has two stations on campus. The Euclid Avenue-East 120th Street station is located near the North Residential Village and the University Circle station is located on Glenwood Avenue near the South Residential Village. Trains run about every 15 minutes from 3 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The second option is the public bus system. Schedules for local bus routes are available in Wade and Fribley Area Offices, Thwing Center, and online. Case undergraduate students receive an RTA U-Pass which provides free unlimited ride use of the rail and bus system for the duration of the semester. Students can pick up their free passes during orientation/move-in or in
the basement of Crawford Hall at Access Services. For more information, call 216.621.9500 or visit the RTA website.
RTA Community Circulators
The RTA also runs a group of Community Circulators. These are smaller
buses which run on fixed routes to certain communities. To catch one, flag the driver by raising a hand when a circulator bus passes by. For more information, call 216.621.9500 or visit the RTA website.
