Commuter Administrative Hearing
In cases heard administratively, the following procedures apply:
- The student will be notified by the Office of Student Affairs of the date, time, and location of an administrative hearing.
- The hearing is generally closed and includes only the accused student(s) and judicial coordinator.
- The judicial coordinator will review all information and testimony by the student(s) and make a decision.
- The student(s) will be notified in writing of the decision and what sanctions, if any, will be imposed.
- The student(s) will be informed of the opportunity to appeal the decision to Assistant V.P. for Judicial Affairs.
Sanctions that may be given if a Commuter Administrative Hearing results
in a student being found responsible, include but are not limited to the
following:
- a warning
- restitution
- fines
- educational project
- service project
- referral
Commuter Administrative Hearings do not establish an official judicial
record in the Office of Student Affairs.
