Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS)

PMS refers to a group of symptoms that often occur between the end of one period and the beginning of the next. Often, these symptoms occur between every period.
The following symptoms may be included:

  • Breast swelling and tenderness
  • Migraines, dizziness, fainting
  • Irritability, lethargy, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, crying spells, hostility
  • Urinary retention
  • Acne

These symptoms are usually the worst two or three days before the onset of a period.
