Free English Classes Are Back
English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) Classes are being offered at Case Western Reserve University. These classes are sponsored by the Cleveland Municipal School District, Office of Adult and Continuing Education.
The ESOL classes are designed to help individuals of limited English proficiency achieve competency in the English language. Students develop the ability to read, write, speak and understand English through a variety of activities. The focus is on English language communication skills. The goal is for students to communicate in English well enough to carry out everyday living activities. Opportunities to learn about American culture and customs are included as a part of each class. Instruction is offered at the Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced levels. These are excellent classes for dependents in F-2 or J-2 visa status.
