Q&A Top 5
What is your job? |
Primarily, my role is to attract and support visiting conference groups and individual guests for our summer housing program. Also, I oversee the management of the North and South Residential Village Area Offices. I enjoy supporting my colleagues in our department with their programs and projects as well.
What other campus activities are you involved in? |
Since the summer Student Orientation program entails overnight accommodations, I am involved with the planning and development process for that. This past year, I was heavily involved in the staff development program ("SEED") offered by the Department of Human Resources. Also, I am involved with others in the Event Planners group. |
What advice do you have for students on how to have a successful college experience? |
- Try new things.
- Speak your mind.
- Trust your intuition.
- Make clear decisions based on who you want to be.
- And, as they say, "Everything in moderation."

What do you like about Case/Cleveland? |
There is a good, healthy understanding here that we're all a part of the learning process. We all have a lot to learn, and there is good support for that. Also, the pizza in the Fribley Marche is extraordinary. |
What is your favorite quote or motto? |
Men have called me mad, but the question is not yet settled, whether madness is not the loftiest intelligence - whether much that is glorious - whether all that is profound does not spring from disease of thought - from moods of mind exalted at the expense of the general intellect. Edgar Allan Poe |
