The Spot is the famous on-campus hangout for students at Case Western Reserve University! Recently remodeled, The Spot is located in the bottom floor of Leutner Commons and is open to the student communities of Case, Cleveland Institute of Art, and the Cleveland Institute of Music.
In addition to great food, The Spot also offers reasonably priced drink specials and live entertainment every Wednesday night sponsored by the University Program Board (UPB). Acts range from slam poets to alternative rock. Check out upb.case.edu for more information on upcoming events! The Spot also offers a quality sound system perfect for an acoustic duo or group. The facility has hosted campus variety shows, swing dance competitions, and other acts.
The Spot is equipped with two large-screen TVs, a Microsoft Xbox, pool tables, air hockey, foosball and dart boards.
The Spot is open Sunday through Thursday from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday and Saturday for special events and private parties. If you are interested in holding a birthday party, bridal shower, Super Bowl bash, or other event at The Spot, please complete our online reservation form.
